Over 50`s Fitness – Building Strength and Friendships…

Join our Over 50`s group fitness sessions where we encourage you to meet other like minded people. We also operate as Over 50 Fitness Brisbane. Our classes are suitable for everyone of all abilities.

We offer four different styles of classes:

Strength sessions – We focus on teaching you the correct ways to conduct strength training exercises. No cardio, just strength exercises to help increase your muscle mass, joint stability and boost your metabolism.

Strength Endurance – This class is designed to help you build muscular endurance, stamina and overall strength in a low-impact, high-rep training format. Using lighter weights and higher repetitions, this class focuses on improving muscle tone, joint stability, and functional fitness—perfect for keeping you strong, mobile and active.

Circuit sessions – We focus on cardio, flexibility, mobility, core and balance in an environment where everyone can go at their own pace.

13`s – This session is a perfect mix of 13 minutes cardio / 13 minutes core / glutes + stability and 13 minutes of strength.

We recommend completing our Over 50`s Starter Package before joining your first group session to ensure you’re fully prepared and confident.

This package includes 2 x 40-minute sessions with one of our experienced trainers and covers essential exercises such as squats, rack pulls, deadlifts, lunges, and more. Also included is an Inbody scan to help your better understand your body composition. Over 50`s Starter Package

10:00am – Circuit.

10:15am – Circuit.

7:00am – Strength.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to complete the Starter Package?

We strongly recommend you complete the 2 x 40min sessions to correctly learn how to perform exercises correctly. This will give you more confidence in the group strength sessions and, more importantly keep you injury free.

Can I bring a friend with me?

Yes, for sure! The more, the merrier.

How do I book in for my first group session?

Simply download our Extreme Physique App, register and book in.

When do I pay?

Pay on the day when you turn up, no payment needed when booking.

Why are the classes only $10?

We wanted to remove as many barriers as possible for people to exercise, keeping it affordable was the key.

Do I need to complete the InBody scan?

No, this is optional but we recommend you complete this to give you a better understanding of your body composition before you start training.

I haven’t exercised in a while or am a beginner with exercise, are the classes suitable for me?

Yes, everyone has to start sometime. We encourage everyone to go at their own pace.

I have some injuries or medical conditions, can I still participate in the classes?

Yes, for sure! We can modify and regress all exercises and teach you how to exercise safely.
