Sports Massage
Sports massage can work for anyone who is active from the recreational athlete to the elite athlete. By targeting your most troublesome body parts, sports massage helps to improve performance, increase range and quality of movement, and prevent injury.
Sports massage can be used effectively to treat conditions such as tendonitis, strains, sprains, and muscle/fascial adhesions. Sports massage can also be used in conjunction with training schedules and conditioning programs to enhance performance, aid in recovery from competition and reduce the risk of injuries occurring.
Remedial Massage
Remedial massage is a therapeutic treatment that helps to restore function to injured “soft tissue” (muscle, tendons / ligaments). By using a combination of deep tissue and trigger point therapy to target specific muscular issues, it`s great for muscle spasms and dissolving muscle tension throughout the body.
Cupping
Cupping is an ancient method of causing local congestion. A partial vacuum is created in cups placed on the skin either by means of heat or suction. When the cup is left in place on the skin for a few minutes, blood stasis is formed and localised healing takes place.
Cupping has also been found to cause tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, help activate and clear the veins, arteries, capillaries and activate the skin and release any fascia build ups.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a process where fine pointed needles are gently inserted through the skin to target myofascial trigger points. Dry needling therapy reduces stiffness, improves blood circulation and relieves local and referred pain.
